License fees: $12 per dog or $7 for each neutered or spayed dog payable by March 31 for all pets five months and older.

Each resident is allowed 4 pets. Approval by the Town Board is required for more than 4 pets.

To obtain your license(s) send the completed Dog License Application along with proof of current rabies vaccination (required by state law- see below), a check payable to the Town of Jackson, and a self-addressed stamped envelope to:

Town of Jackson
3146 Division Rd
Jackson, WI  53037

Wisconsin State Statutes mandate that the owner of a dog more than five months of age on January 1, or five months of age within this year, shall obtain a license prior to April 1 or on or before the date the dog becomes five months of age.

A late fee of $5 per dog licensed after March 31st will be applied. This fee is in addition to the regular license amount listed above.

NO LICENSE WILL BE ISSUED WITHOUT A CERTIFICATE OF RABIES VACCINATION. All dogs 5 months and older must have a rabies vaccination by a veterinarian. This is a state imposed law. See State Statute.

If you no longer have a dog that was licensed in the town last year, please fill out the back of the Dog License Application and mail or drop off at the Town. This will avoid you receiving a delinquent dog license letter.
